Lawless Announces Top-Notch Campaign Consulting Team

“This team reflects just how serious I am about winning this race and bringing new leadership to Rhode Island,” said Lawless.WARWICK, RI – Jennifer Lawless, candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District, today unveiled her team of campaign consultants and professionals. The campaign team includes media consulting firm Laguens, Hamburger, Kully & Klose (LHKK), national finance consultant Robert Pilon, and pollster Margie Omero, President of research firm Momentum Analysis.
“Jennifer Lawless for Congress has been more successful than ever at putting the pieces into place to win on Election Day,” said Adam Deitch, Lawless’ campaign manager. “The campaign now has the infrastructure in place to do some serious and successful persuasion as voters start to pay attention and make decisions.”
Lawless’ top-notch team of giant-killer consultants includes media consulting firm Laguens, Hamburger, Kully & Klose (LHKK), veterans of several winning primary campaigns, including Jon Tester for Senate this cycle in Montana, as well as Congressional challenger wins like Dennis Moore in Kansas and Tom Udall in New Mexico, and Betty Castor’s landslide Florida Senate primary win over establishment favorite Peter Deutsch in 2004. They have also engineered victories for Senator Debbie Stabenow and the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and a number of their state and local affiliates.
The campaign’s national finance consultant is Robert J. Pilon, who has over ten years of development, fundraising, and consulting experience in the non-profit, corporate, and political sectors. Pilon served as a Senior Development Officer at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation in Washington, DC, where he was instrumental in launching the Foundation’s international fundraising project in South Africa, AIDS Walk Africa. Most recently, Pilon served as Campaign Finance Director for the Matt Brown for U.S. Senate Campaign, where he helped the campaign raise well over $1.5 million.
Lawless also announced that her pollster is Margie Omero, President of Momentum Analysis, a public opinion research firm based in Washington, DC. Momentum Analysis’ client list has included the Democratic National Committee, EMILY’s List, and multiple statewide and congressional campaigns. Prior to launching Momentum Analysis, Omero was a Vice President at The Mellman Group, also a research firm in Washington, DC. While there, Omero worked for many Democratic candidates, including Senators Maria Cantwell and Tim Johnson, former Senator Tom Daschle, former Congressman Richard Gephardt, and Lawless’ current primary opponent, Representative James Langevin in his first race for Congress in 2000.
Jennifer Lawless for Congress also employs a full-time campaign staff of ten, including Campaign Manager Adam Deitch, Finance Director Nick Goldberg, Field Director Carolyn Ehrlich, and Minority Outreach Director Ingrid Ardaya.
