Congressional Candidate Has Busy Day Planned

(Warwick, RI) -- Second District Congressional candidate Jennifer Lawless has a busy day on tap. The Democrat begins a door-to-door canvassing effort in the Edgewood section of Cranston this morning.
Lawless also plans to attend the Rhode Island Pridefest in Providence, noting that she is a supporter of marriage equality. Finally Lawless will attend a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood. She received the endorsement of the group's political action committee. She is challenging incumbent Democrat Jim Langevin in a primary. Langevin will officially launch his reelection campaign on Monday.
