BPW/PAC Endorses Lawless

The Business and Professional Women Political Action Committee, a national group, has endorsed Jennifer Lawless in her run for Congress in Rhode Island's 2nd District.

The BPW/PAC was formed in 1979 to help women and pro-women candidates for federal office. The group supports issues affecting working women, including economic equity, health care and civil rights.

"Jennifer Lawless is clearly the top pick for women in the workplace and has shown that she supports BPW's top legislative issues," said BPW/PAC chair Leslie Wilkins.
