Lawless Invites Community to Enjoy “Cake and Coffee with Jen” - Event Kicks Off Series of Coffee Hours around the State

WARWICK, RI – Jennifer Lawless, a candidate for U.S. Representative from Rhode Island’s second congressional district, announced today that she is hosting an event celebrating the grand opening of her campaign headquarters. The event, “Cake and Coffee with Jen!” is scheduled for this Saturday, July 30, 2005, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm at Lawless campaign headquarters, located at 750 West Shore Road in the Conimicut section of Warwick.

“I am happy to say that the campaign office is now fully operational,” Lawless said. “The homeowners and businesses in the area have been incredibly warm and welcoming. This is going to be a fun event and a great opportunity to get to know my neighbors.”

This event will kick off a series of informal “coffee hours” that Lawless plans to hold throughout her campaign. She is currently in the process of scheduling these events at coffee houses throughout the second congressional district. “I am going to be the most accessible candidate in Rhode Island. I look forward to meeting as many interested constituents as I can all across the district.”

All Rhode Islanders are invited to the coffee hours, and Lawless will be distributing personal invitations to residents nearest to her campaign headquarters for Saturday’s event. Any interested individuals, supporters, and prospective volunteers are especially encouraged to attend.
